| Thank you for the informative replies. I've worked on cars a lot in the past, but that was when you could get a hand in there somewhere. To do this job myself is a little daunting, but I've got friends who've restored cars and built engines and are willing to help. I'm thinking about the option of removing the plenum myself with help and modifying it to remove the material like with the Dremel method while it's off the car. You have mentioned other things that could be done at the same time, and I'm not sure at this point how to decide which of these I should consider. But to fix this specific problem, I could replace all the injectors at once and ensure that any subsequent R&R could be done without the all the hassle. Does this sound like a reasonable option? If so, I'd also appreciate advice on what else to do at the same time. I don't yet know much about the cooling system mentioned, for example, and how to choose whether to replace hoses or remove it altogether. The benefit of your expertise is very much appreciated. Tosh
